Clifton Creek Primary students have helped plant a lone pine sapling from Gallipoli, growing roots between Australian and Turkish communities.
It’s a sign of rebuilding for the school which lost its lone pine tree in the black summer fires.
The 100 Lone Pines Project is supported by the Victorian Government’s Restoring Community War Memorials and Avenues of Honour Grant Program, and the Victorian Veterans Council.
